JAMES E. HIBBS, P. L. S.

James Hibbs is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor and became President of L.J. Friar & Associates, P.C. in May, 2001.

Mr. Hibbs began his surveying career in 1976 while in High School in Roseburg, Oregon. Upon graduation from Oregon Institute of technology in 1982 he was employed by Friar-Moffit & Associates. Prior to that, he was employed by Douglas County, Oregon and the United States Forest Service, where he worked the summer months as a survey technician while attending college.

Mr. Hibbs received his registration as an Oregon Professional Land Surveyor in 1986 and California Professional Land Surveyor in 1988, and for the past twenty-five years has been responsible for numerous projects from the pre-design survey through construction staking as well as water rights.
