JAMES E. HIBBS, P. L. S.
James Hibbs is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor and became President of L.J. Friar & Associates, P.C. in May, 2001.
Mr. Hibbs began his surveying career in 1976 while in High School in Roseburg, Oregon. Upon graduation from Oregon Institute of technology in 1982 he was employed by Friar-Moffit & Associates. Prior to that, he was employed by Douglas County, Oregon and the United States Forest Service, where he worked the summer months as a survey technician while attending college.
Mr. Hibbs received his registration as an Oregon Professional Land Surveyor in 1986 and California Professional Land Surveyor in 1988, and has been responsible for numerous projects from the pre-design survey through construction staking as well as water rights.
